Patrick and I married in 1990 while he was active duty in the US Navy, and we had our first child in 1994, and by 2002 we had our family complete with our 3 children. Patrick and I always had this kind of connection through the moon that spanned the miles between us, that no matter where we were in the world, when I would see the Moon I would talk with the Moon like Patrick could hear me.
As therapy, I started this blog when I started realizing it would be better to "talk" here to the "Moon" rather than feel so alone as I was much of the time. After he retired from the Navy in 2006 I continued to "Talk to the Moon" in this blog.
Most of these posts aren't about happy fun stuff. Some are good days, but most are days when I needed to clear my mind and/or soul of stuff. I hope that if you have found this blog that you will find some comfort in my posts that maybe you are not alone in feeling angry, hopeless, happy, thankful, etc...Life is worth it, but not easy.
